Sailing the Danube with AmaWaterways
On March 6th, I left the US to travel with AmaWaterways from Vienna to Budapest. After a quick two night hotel stay in Vienna, we boarded the beautiful AmaVerde and got ready for departure. The AmaVerde has 80 staterooms, takes 150 passengers, and has 51 crew. Sailing wtih AmaWaterways is truly a delightful way to experience the Danube.

Next month, I’m sailing from Vienna to Budapest with AMA on a private cruise with my host agency and I can’t wait. I have two days to explore Vienna before embarkation. Many many years ago, I spent a year studying in Innsbruck, Austria so I can’t wait to get back to Vienna and brush up on my Deutsch. I really love the artist Hundertwasser and am so excited to return to his home in Vienna.
