White Lotus Season 3: Setting the Scene in Paradise
White Lotus Season 3 is being filmed in Bangkok, Koh Samui, and Phuket. This is very exciting as these locations are very different from each other.
Wat Arun in Bangkok
Bangkok: The vibrant capital city is a feast for the senses, a captivating blend of ancient temples, bustling markets, and modern skyscrapers. From the serene beauty of Wat Arun (the Temple of Dawn) to the vibrant energy of the Chatuchak Weekend Market, Bangkok offers a sensory overload in the best way possible. And, of course, the city's rooftop bars and world-class restaurants are not to be missed. Some scenes from White Lotus Season 3 were filmed at the Mandarin Oriental Bangkok. This property is situated in the heart of Bangkok, just steps away from the Chao Phraya River. I am a top-producing Mandarin Oriental Fan Club Partner which means I can add perks and amenities to your stay.
The Four Seasons Koh Samui
Koh Samui: The Four Seasons Koh Samui and its secluded, tropical setting provides the idyllic backdrop the show requires. The lush landscaping, private villas with infinity pools, and breathtaking ocean views create the visually appealing paradise that masks the drama unfolding beneath the surface. I am a Four Seasons Preferred Partner and can unlock all sorts of amenities through this invitation-only program for top-producing advisors. Ready to experience the Four Seasons Koh Samui? Anantara Mai Khao Phuket Villas. The pool might look familiar!
Phuket: This tropical paradise is renowned for its stunning beaches, crystal-clear waters, and lush landscapes. Whether you're seeking adventure through the limestone cliffs of Phang Nga Bay or simply yearning for a tranquil escape on pristine sands, Phuket has something for everyone. Some scenes from White Lotus Season 3 were filmed at the Anantara Mai Khao Phuket Villas. This Virtuoso property is an all-pool villa resort and a Virtuoso property where I can add perks and amenities to your stay.
The Siam, Bangkok
Beyond White Lotus: Other Thai Retreats

Located on the banks of the Chao Phraya River, The Siam offers a tranquil escape from the city's hustle and bustle, while still providing easy access to its many attractions. This is a Virtuoso property where I can VIP your stay.

Tips for Traveling in Thailand
Best Time to Visit: The cool, dry season (November to February) is generally considered the best time to visit Thailand, but be prepared for higher prices and more crowds. The shoulder seasons (March-May and September-October) offer a good balance of pleasant weather and fewer tourists.
Currency: The Thai baht (THB) is the official currency. Credit cards are widely accepted in hotels and restaurants, but it's always a good idea to have some baht on hand for smaller purchases and markets.
Respectful Attire: When visiting temples, dress respectfully. Cover your shoulders and knees.
Transportation: Thailand has a well-developed transportation network and intercity flights are a pretty good value. For getting around cities, taxis and tuk-tuks are readily available. For longer distances, consider domestic flights or trains. One of my best days in Thailand was hiring a tuk tuk driver to take me around the Krabi/Ao Nang area to different beaches.
Let's Talk Food (Beyond Pad Thai)
Okay, I know everyone talks about Pad Thai. It's fine. But Thai cuisine is so much more than that. Here are a few dishes to seek out that go beyond the tourist menu:
Khao Soi: A Northern Thai specialty, this creamy coconut curry noodle soup is absolutely divine. (One of my personal favorites!)
Som Tum: This spicy green papaya salad is a refreshing and flavorful explosion of tastes and textures. There are many regional variations, so be sure to try a few.
Thai Laab/Larb: This is a minced meat salad that is just so delicious. It’s seasoned with lime juice, fish sauce, and fresh herbs like mint.
The Real Thailand Experience
The key to truly experiencing Thailand is to go beyond the surface. Engage with the locals, learn a few Thai phrases, and be open to new experiences. Whether you're exploring ancient temples, relaxing on a secluded beach, or indulging in the incredible cuisine, Thailand has something to offer everyone. Just remember, there's more to this country than just what you see on TV (even if that TV show is fabulous).
