Overwater Bungalows in the Maldives

In 2019, during my 9 month trip around the world, I spent 10 days in the Maldives. It’s truly a unique and amazing place. While I was in the Maldives, I stayed at the Anantara, which was lovely. I chose this resort mainly because it was close to the airport. But when I go back to the Maldives, I can’t wait to explore the Virtuoso properties where I can VIP myself with extra amenities.

To be fair, if you don’t like watersports, there’s not a lot to do in the Maldives. BUT…if you want turquoise water and lots of downtime, it’s a great vacation destination. Check out the Maldives section of my Virtuoso website for all the perks and specials I can offer you in the Maldives. For overwater bungalows, definitely take a look at the Four Seasons, the Ritz Carlton, and the Park Hyatt in the Maldives. They are all amazing properties!

If an overwater bungalow is out of reach — hotels in the Maldives get expensive really quickly — my other favorite way to see the Maldives in by boat. I have a great partner that does an amazing small ship cruise of the Maldives, a specialty cruise that you really don’t see on the market today. Contact me for details.

That’s it for this week! As always, please do not hesitate to reach out for your complimentary travel planning consultation.
