Hurtigruten

Interested in a polar holiday with the most Norwegian of cruise lines? (In Norway or elsewhere!) Book your dream expedition cruise during Hurtigruten’s Black Friday Sale! Save up to 50% when you book select 2023-2024 Hurtigruten Expeditions cruises between Nov 1 and Nov 30, 2023.

Sail on small sustainable ships to some of the planet’s most off-the-beaten-track destinations! With a legacy of expedition travel since 1893, Hurtigruten is proud to offer adventures with science, education, and conservation at their core. Immerse yourself in otherworldly landscapes, get up close to rare wildlife, and encounter unique cultures — in the most sustainable way possible.

Krista’s take: Hurtigruten is best for hearty souls looking for bucket list travel adventures. This cruise line is great for practical people who don’t need fancy things.

Seabourn

Enjoy a Two-Category Veranda Suite Upgrade, up to $2,000USD per suite Shipboard Credit and 50% reduced deposits on select 2024 ultra-luxury voyages. Plan your voyage before this offer sails away on December 4th.

Krista’s take: Seabourn is best for luxury travelers, typically Gen X and Boomer clientele. People who appreciate adventure but also want to be uber-comfortable. Note, the new expedition ships are targeting Millennials too.

AmaWaterways

Long-term readers might know that AmaWaterways is my favorite European river cruise line! Receive 20% off or $1,000 in stateroom savings on select Europe or Mekong River cruises departing throughout 2024. Book with me by Dec 31.

Krista’s take: River cruising in general attracts an older crowd but really, given the in-town docking locations, there’s something for everyone on an AmaWaterways cruise.

Holland America

Between November 17 and December 2, 2023, any new Holland America Line bookings made during this 7 day period will receive a shipboard credit up to $150 per stateroom! Some exceptions apply. Contact me for more details.

Krista’s take: Holland America typically caters to a Boomer demographic. However, they do a particularly amazing job in Alaska, where they attract a wide variety of travelers.

Quark Expeditions

Quark Expeditions is uncompromisingly polar, specializing in expeditions to Antarctica and the Arctic and has been the leading provider of polar adventure travel for over 25 years. With a diverse fleet of specially-equipped small expedition vessels, icebreakers, and unique land-based adventures, Quark offers travelers unparalleled access to the most remote places on earth.

Save up to 30% on select north and south pole voyages departing in 2024 and 2025, plus an additional 10% when paid in full at time of booking.

Krista’s take: Quark is great for nerds. Like me! Seriously!! SCIENCE-Y ADVENTURE.

Azamara

Azamara prides itself on cultural immersion — you get more time in port during Azamara cruises. Elevate your cruise with a free stateroom upgrade (or 20% off a suite) and a $1,000 shipboard credit in addition to all-inclusive fares when you book by Dec 5.

Krista’s take: Azamara attracts travelers who love the longer times in port — destination-oriented, cultural-immersion types. While the cruise line typically attracts clientele in their late 50s, the very nature of an Azamara cruise means you may see a wider variety of luxury travelers.
