2024 travel planning begins in earnest this month. Can you believe it? I can’t. Where did the year go?

The best thing about a new year? For me, it means it’s time to start thinking about how to maximize your vacation days. If you’re creative, you can turn two weeks off into a whole lot more. In fact, Travel & Leisure has a great article on how to turn 15 vacation days into 52.

The bad news for 2024? Flight prices. They are high. Like really high. Discounts are rare. Book early for the best routing and pricing. And be prepared to be flexible. Flight cancellations and schedule changes are not uncommon. Please protect yourself with travel insurance.
